Tuesday Mar. 05.2002 / 3:15 pm Well I'm finally getting around to writing some content for this site. I designed the interface over a month ago, but things sort of go at a slower pace down here sometimes. It's easy to get side tracked. As the Jimmy Buffet song goes" ... I ran into a friend with a bottle of rum and wound up drinking all day..." This site is a long time overdue. It started out as a travelogue site for jumbie.org. I had completed designs and built templates. But since I'm not really traveling I scrapped it before it ever launched. If you didn't already know, I'm pretty much hanging down here in Trinidad for a while. No, I don't know how long that means. Long enough to warrant a site though. Still need to populate most of the sections, but I reckon if I start writing from now at least I'll have content for the archives section by the time I actually launch this thing. Hopefully in the next week or two. I don't know how often I'll update this site yet, but I'm hoping at least once a week. I'm trying to decide if to fix the pictures or make them random. My next post will probably be around launch time and I'll try to be more informative and recap my stay here so far including Carnival 2002. ::
